By accessing resultpedia.com (the "Site") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and are read together with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 to the extent applicable. The Site is operated by the editorial team described in our About page and is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account, post comments, submit a correction request, or subscribe to email / push communications. The Site itself is freely browsable without any login. School-board result pages are aimed at school students and their parents — we do not collect personal data from minors who simply read a results page, but we do not allow under-18 readers to subscribe to recurring communications without verified guardian consent as required under Indian law.
2. Permitted use
You may browse, read, and reference content on the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to specific pages. You may not:
- Scrape, mirror, or redistribute the Site or its content at scale.
- Republish original commentary, FAQs, calculators, or other Resultpedia-authored content without written permission.
- Use the Site to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
- Attempt to bypass security measures or rate limits.
3. User content
If you post comments or submit content (e.g., self-reported cutoffs), you grant Resultpedia a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and modify that content on the Site. You represent that you have the right to grant this licence and that the content does not infringe any third party's rights.
4. No professional advice; no agent relationship with government
Content on the Site is for general information only. It does not constitute legal, financial, career, medical, or professional advice. See Disclaimer. Resultpedia is not a recruitment agent, a coaching institute, or an authorised representative of any government department or examining authority. We do not accept money for forwarding applications, do not promise selection, and do not provide question papers, leaked answer keys or "guaranteed" prediction lists. Anyone claiming to represent Resultpedia and offering such services is committing fraud — please report them to the editorial email below.
4A. Acceptable behaviour
When you interact with the Site — whether by emailing the editorial team, submitting a correction, or posting in any comment surface we may launch later — you agree not to: (a) post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or that infringes intellectual property; (b) post personal data of third parties (admit-card numbers, application IDs, Aadhaar references, photographs) without their consent; (c) impersonate any government officer, editorial staff member, or third party; (d) use the Site to advertise paid recruitment services, exam-leak claims, or get-selected-quick schemes. We reserve the right to remove any submission that violates these rules and, in serious cases, to report it to the appropriate authority under Section 66 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
5. Third-party links and ads
The Site contains links to official government portals, other third-party websites, and advertisements served by Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse third-party sites or advertisers, and your interactions with them are at your own risk. Advertisements are always rendered in clearly labelled ad slots; no editorial content on Resultpedia is paid placement, and where that ever changes the page will carry a visible "Sponsored" label. Official-portal links open the conducting authority's own website — once you leave resultpedia.com, that authority's terms and privacy practices apply, not ours.
5A. Free tools and calculators
The Site offers free utilities — including the age calculator, photo resizer, typing test, and similar tools published under /tools/. These are provided as-is for convenience: outputs are indicative and do not constitute a certification of eligibility. Age-limit rules vary by notification, category and relaxation circular; a photo resized by our tool may still be rejected by a recruitment portal whose specifications changed after our page was last verified. Always validate tool outputs against the current official notification before submitting an application. Files you process in browser-based tools (such as the photo resizer) are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
5B. Alerts and notifications
If you opt in to browser push notifications, WhatsApp Channel updates, or Telegram alerts, you can withdraw at any time — push via your browser's site-settings panel, channel subscriptions via the respective app's unfollow control. Alerts are a best-effort convenience: delivery depends on your device, browser and network, and a missed alert does not extend any application deadline. The official notification timeline of the conducting authority is always controlling.
6. Intellectual property
All editorial content on the Site that is not Government Work or third-party content (including author bylines, written analysis, FAQ answers, and proprietary illustrations) is the work of the Resultpedia editorial team and is protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. The "Resultpedia" name, logo, and visual identity are unregistered marks used in commerce by the Site operator. Government notification text, official PDFs, names of statutory bodies (UPSC, SSC, RRB, IBPS, RBI, etc.), and any trademarks owned by third parties remain the property of their respective owners and appear here for identification purposes only.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current at the time you read it — exam dates change, vacancy counts are revised by corrigendum, and result links go live and offline on the schedule of the conducting authority, not ours. Always confirm critical numbers against the official portal before acting.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resultpedia, its editorial team, and the legal entity operating the Site are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages — including loss of opportunity, loss of expected earnings, missed application deadlines, exam-fee loss, or travel cost incurred for an exam centre — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for direct damages, where such liability is not excluded by law, is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page and via a Site banner.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising from your use of the Site are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, except where any consumer-protection statute mandates the jurisdiction of a different forum. You and Resultpedia agree to attempt good-faith resolution through email correspondence before initiating any formal proceedings.
11A. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be construed to give it the maximum effect permitted by law. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, Editorial Policy and Correction Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Resultpedia and supersede any prior representations.
