Each figure is sourced from an official recruitment notification (gazette / commission notice) and recorded on the corresponding Resultpedia page after editorial verification. The tracker sums the advertised vacancy count for every published recruitment that carries a confirmed figure. Vacancies are de-duplicated — where a single recruitment is covered by more than one page (for example a notification page and a separate admit-card page), it is counted only once, so the headline total is never inflated by repeated coverage. Recruitments without an officially stated vacancy number are excluded from the total (so the real opportunity pool is larger than shown). Announced-but-not-yet-notified drives are included where an official target has been stated. Figures update automatically as notifications are added or revised.
