BPSC AEDO Exam Cancelled 2026 — Bluetooth Cheating Detected, Re-Exam Date Awaited at bpsc.bihar.gov.in — Analysis & Trends
What happened
BPSC monitoring teams detected the use of Bluetooth earpieces and other unauthorised electronic gadgets at several AEDO exam centres across Bihar during the 14-21 April 2026 sitting. The commission decided that the integrity of the sitting could not be preserved and annulled the entire exam under its examination-rule clauses. The companion AP Cleanliness Officer exam under Advt 108/2025 (held 23 April) was cancelled in the same notice.

- Expect stricter security at the re-exam — biometric verification, frisking for electronic devices, possible jammers at the centre.
- If your registration number appears in the 32-debarred list in the 1 May notice, you cannot appear in the re-exam or any future BPSC exam.
Past BPSC re-exam precedent
Past BPSC cancellations (notably the 67th CCE Prelims paper-leak in 2022) saw re-exams scheduled 6 to 10 weeks after the cancellation notice. On that pattern, the AEDO re-exam would tentatively fall in July-August 2026. Confirm via the live notice — BPSC has not publicly committed to a specific timeline yet.
