Preparation strategy

Tradesman selection weights PET, PST and Trade Test heavily — a candidate cannot reach the written exam without clearing these qualifying stages. Anchor your prep on physical fitness — daily 5–7 km runs at progressive pace, push-ups, chin-ups, long and high jump practice from day one. For the trade test, ensure documented experience or ITI certification in your declared trade. The written exam is moderate difficulty — General Awareness and Reasoning together carry 50 of 100 marks and respond well to consistent reading plus mock-test practice from our previous papers archive. Cross-prep with parallel police jobs recruitments including SSC GD Constable for paramilitary roles.
