Educational Qualification:

• Senior Manager (E6): Per position code — typically B.E. / B.Tech in relevant discipline (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) plus minimum specified post-qualification experience in engineering consultancy or EPC.
• Manager (HR) (E5): MBA / PGDM (HR / IR / Personnel Management) or two-year full-time PG diploma with relevant experience in HR / IR.
• Engineer (E1 / E2): B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical from a recognised university with the minimum percentage specified per the position code.
• Junior Draftsman: Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering from a recognised polytechnic, plus drafting / AutoCAD proficiency.
• Junior Assistant (E0): B.Sc / B.B.A / B.Com / equivalent per position code. Stream-specific requirements (e.g. Hospitality, Supply Chain Management) per the advertisement.
• Caste eligibility: Open only to candidates from SC / ST / OBC-NCL categories. Valid caste certificate in the prescribed central-government format is mandatory at every stage.

Nationality: Indian citizen. Postings at EIL offices — New Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Vadodara, and project sites across India.

Selection Process

1. Online Application — Register and apply at recruitment.eil.co.in between 9 May and 25 May 2026. One candidate can apply to only one position code.
2. Shortlisting — EIL shortlists candidates on the basis of minimum qualifying marks and relevant post-qualification experience as specified per position code in the advertisement.
3. Written Test (where notified) — For position codes where a written test is specified in the advertisement, shortlisted candidates appear for an objective screening test at EIL-notified centres.
4. Personal Interview — Shortlisted candidates appear for a Personal Interview at an EIL office. Originals required: degree certificates, marksheets, experience certificates, caste certificate in the central-government format, photo ID, and a passport-size photograph.
5. Offer + Medical + Joining — Selected candidates receive an offer letter, clear a standard pre-employment medical, and join at the notified EIL office. EIL follows IDA pay scales with standard PSU perks (HRA, medical, PF, gratuity, performance-related pay).

Engineers India Limited (EIL) is a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, headquartered in New Delhi.
