The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani will conduct the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) on 4 and 5 July 2026. An important naming point first: although the board officially labels this cycle "HTET-2025" (the notification was released in December 2025), the examination is being held in 2026 — so candidates will find it referred to as both HTET 2025 and HTET 2026. The online application window (24 December 2025 to early January 2026) is now closed, and attention has shifted to the admit card and the exam itself. HTET is one of Haryana's most-sought teaching eligibility tests, reportedly drawing well over 2.5 lakh candidates.

Eligibility (by Level)
Eligibility broadly follows the NCTE pattern, and the precise marks and qualifications for each level should be confirmed in the official notification:
- Level 1 (PRT): Senior Secondary (10+2) with the required percentage plus a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) — or equivalent as specified.
- Level 2 (TGT): Graduation plus B.Ed / D.El.Ed as specified.
- Level 3 (PGT): Master's degree plus B.Ed as specified.
Exact percentage relaxations and qualification combinations are listed in the official BSEH notification — verify them for your level before relying on them.
HTET 2026 Admit Card
BSEH typically releases the HTET admit card about four days before the examination, which places it around late June / 1 July 2026 for a 4–5 July exam. The admit card will be downloaded from the official portal using your registration credentials and will carry your exam centre, date, shift timing and reporting instructions. We will update this page with the direct admit-card link as soon as BSEH activates it.
HTET Certificate Validity — Now Lifetime
A major candidate-friendly change: the HTET qualifying certificate is now valid for lifetime (the earlier 7-year validity was removed, effective 6 August 2024), and older certificates have been upgraded accordingly. This means once you qualify HTET, the certificate does not expire for future Haryana teacher recruitment.
Result
The HTET result will be declared after the exam — typically a few weeks later. As the exam has not yet been held, no result date has been announced; this page will be updated when BSEH notifies the result schedule.
