The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the admit card for the Senior Teacher (Grade II) Competitive Examination 2026 — popularly called the RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher exam — on 9 July 2026. With the written exam running from 12 to 18 July 2026, the admit card is the single most important document right now: it carries your exam date, shift, and centre, and you cannot enter the hall without it. Download it early and check every detail.

How to download the RPSC 2nd Grade admit card 2026

  1. Go to rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in (or log in via sso.rajasthan.gov.in).
  2. Open the “Admit Card” section and click the Senior Teacher Grade II (2nd Grade) 2026 link.
  3. Enter your application number and date of birth (or log in through your SSO ID), and the captcha.
  4. Download and print the admit card. Check your name, photo, subject, exam date, shift timing and centre carefully.
  5. If any detail is wrong, contact RPSC immediately through the helpline given on the admit card / website.

Exam dates and shift timing

The exam is held over seven days, 12 to 18 July 2026, in two shifts each day — a morning shift and an afternoon shift. Your exact date and shift depend on your subject, and are printed on your admit card. Because RPSC can revise reporting times, treat the timings on your own admit card as final and reach the centre well before the reporting time; late entry is not allowed.

Subjects

The Senior Teacher Grade II exam is conducted subject-wise across nine subjects: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Social Science, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi and Gujarati. Candidates appear on the date fixed for their chosen subject.

What to carry to the exam centre

  • A clear printout of the admit card (do not fold or laminate it).
  • A valid original photo ID — Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence, PAN or passport.
  • Passport-size photographs if the admit card asks for them.
  • A blue/black ballpoint pen as specified.

Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices or any electronic item — RPSC enforces strict anti-cheating rules, and carrying banned items can lead to disqualification.

Exam pattern (in brief)

The Senior Teacher Grade II selection is based on a written examination with two papers — a General Knowledge paper and a subject-specific paper for the subject you applied in. The exact number of questions, marks and any negative marking are as given in the official RPSC syllabus and notification — confirm them there rather than relying on unofficial figures, and revise your subject and Rajasthan GK in these final days.

A note on the vacancy count

Different websites report the number of Senior Teacher Grade II vacancies differently. Because these figures do not agree, we are not printing a single vacancy number here — the authoritative count is the one in the official RPSC recruitment notification. For the admit card and exam, the vacancy number does not change what you need to do: download the hall ticket and appear on your date.

A note for candidates appearing this week.

With the exam spread over seven days and two shifts, the single biggest avoidable mistake is misreading your own date, shift or centre — check all three the moment you download the admit card. Candidates every year turn up on the wrong day or at the wrong reporting time because they assumed instead of reading. Do a dry run to the centre if it is in an unfamiliar town, keep two printed copies of the admit card, and carry only an original photo ID and a pen — RPSC's frisking is strict, and a smart watch or phone can end your attempt. On preparation, the last few days are for revision, not new topics: consolidate Rajasthan GK and your subject's high-weight areas, and do at least one full timed paper in your shift's time slot so the pace feels familiar. Finally, ignore the conflicting vacancy numbers doing the rounds online — the count does not change your task this week, which is simply to appear, calm and on time, with the right documents. The candidates who convert are the ones who treat exam-day logistics as seriously as the syllabus.
