Key Highlights

  • HPTET June 2026 exam window: 7 – 21 June, offline, two shifts a day (10:00 AM and 2:00 PM).
  • Ten papers: TGT Arts, TGT Medical, TGT Non-Medical, JBT, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu, and Special Educator (Pre-primary–V and VI–XII).
  • Admit cards released in waves on hpbose.org: 4 June, 10 June (JBT, TGT Sanskrit/Arts/Medical) and 12 June (Punjabi & Urdu) — so the remaining papers fall in the 13–21 June slots.
  • Applications ran 30 April – 15 May (late fee till 18 May); the candidate rejection list was published 2 June.
  • Result date: not announced — HPBOSE typically declares TET results within weeks of the final paper.

The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) June 2026 session is mid-flight: the first papers were written on 7 June, and the window runs to 21 June with each of the ten papers assigned its own date and shift. If your paper is still ahead — and the 12 June admit-card wave for Punjabi and Urdu confirms those papers sit in the closing 17–21 June slots — your admit card is already downloadable.

How to download the HPTET admit card

  1. Open hpbose.orgStudent Corner → Admit Card (HPTET).
  2. Select your paper and log in with your application credentials.
  3. Check the exam date, shift (10 AM or 2 PM), and centre address on the PDF — every paper has its own schedule.
  4. Print the admit card and carry it with a valid original photo ID on exam day; report well before gate-closing time.
  5. If your name appeared in the 2 June rejection list, your candidature for this session stands rejected for the reason listed — the list is on the Board's notification page.

Paper pattern and qualifying

Each HPTET paper is a single 150-question, 150-mark MCQ session covering the subject and pedagogy mix prescribed for that paper, with no negative marking. The qualifying standard for TETs is 60% for general-category candidates with relaxation for reserved categories as per the notification. An HPTET pass is an eligibility credential for teacher recruitment in Himachal — JBT and TGT hiring (including the HPRCA's current JBT drive) requires the corresponding TET pass.

After your paper

HPBOSE publishes provisional answer keys for the papers after the window, with an objection period, followed by the result — the Board has not announced the result date for this session. Keep your admit card safe until the result and certificate stage. We will update this page when the keys or result schedule publish.
