Educational Qualification:

• Hospitality Monitor — Route A: B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration from NCHMCT, OR from a UGC / AICTE-affiliated Institute of Hotel Management (IHM).
• Hospitality Monitor — Route B: BBA / MBA (Culinary Arts) from an Indian Culinary Institute (ICI) under the Ministry of Tourism.
• Hospitality Monitor — Route C: B.Sc. Hotel Management & Catering Science from a recognised UGC / AICTE-affiliated university.
• Hospitality Monitor — Route D: MBA (Tourism & Hotel Management) from a recognised UGC / AICTE-affiliated university.
• Documents to carry at walk-in: Filled application form (download from irctc.com), passport-size photographs, original + photocopies of all qualification certificates and marksheets, age proof (Class 10 certificate), photo ID, caste / EWS / PwBD certificate where applicable, experience certificates (if any), and a printed copy of the IRCTC notification.

Nationality: Indian citizen. On-board duty across the IRCTC train network, with home zone as the venue of selection.

Selection Process

1. Download + Fill Application Form — Download the IRCTC Hospitality Monitor application form from irctc.com → Careers section. Fill personal details, qualification, and experience offline.
2. Walk-in at IRCTC Venue — Report between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM on any working day from 3 to 24 June 2026 at the IRCTC zonal venue closest to your preferred zone — North Zone Office New Delhi, IHM Srinagar, IRCTC Chandigarh / Jaipur / Lucknow, and other notified venues.
3. Document Verification (on the spot) — IRCTC verifies originals at the venue: qualification certificates, marksheets, age proof, photo ID, and the printed notification. Photocopies are retained.
4. Personal Interview — A short Personal Interview at the venue assesses hospitality service knowledge, on-board train operations awareness, communication skills, and grooming. Conducted by an IRCTC selection panel.
5. Offer + Joining — Shortlisted candidates receive an on-the-spot or same-week offer for a 1-3 year contractual engagement at ₹30,000/month consolidated + allowances. Joining is at the assigned zone after a brief IRCTC orientation.

Negative marking: Not applicable — walk-in interview, no written test.
