What is the difference between SSLC Exam-1, Exam-2 and Exam-3?

Karnataka has replaced the old single "supplementary" with three full exams in the same academic year — Exam-1, Exam-2 and Exam-3. Any student can sit Exam-2 or Exam-3 to clear failed subjects OR improve their marks, and your best score across all attempts is taken as final.
