NEET SS 2026 Eligibility
You need an MD / MS / DNB degree in the relevant broad specialty (the feeder qualification for the super-specialty you're applying to), with registration with the NMC or a State Medical Council. NEET SS leads to DM (Doctorate of Medicine) and MCh (Master of Chirurgiae) courses — the super-specialty level above MD/MS.
NEET SS 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam is a computer-based test of 150 multiple-choice questions in 2.5 hours, organised into three sections, conducted in English. Question groups are mapped to the super-specialty/feeder combinations chosen by the candidate. After the result, counselling for DM/MCh seats is conducted by the MCC and participating institutes.
