The RRBs release the documents in two steps: first the City Intimation Slip about 10 days before the exam (expected around 1 July 2026), which tells you only your exam city, date and shift so you can plan travel; then the full admit card about 4 days before the exam (expected around 6 July 2026), which carries your exam-centre address and reporting time. How to download the CBT-2 admit card

1. Go to the RRB website of the region you applied to (or the exam portal rrb.digialm.com).
2. Open the "CEN 06/2025 NTPC Graduate CBT-2 e-Call Letter" link.
3. Log in with your registration number and date of birth / password.
4. Download and take a clear colour printout of the admit card.

City Intimation Slip vs Admit Card

These are two separate downloads. The City Intimation Slip (released ~10 days before) gives only your exam city, date and shift for travel planning — it is not the hall ticket. The admit card (released ~4 days before) is the actual hall ticket with your full exam-centre address, reporting time, photo and instructions, and is the document you must carry to the exam.

RRB NTPC CBT-2 exam pattern

CBT-2 has 120 questions for 120 marks in 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with a scribe):

• General Awareness — 50 questions
• Mathematics — 35 questions
• General Intelligence & Reasoning — 35 questions

There is negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer; unattempted questions carry no penalty. As the exam runs across multiple shifts, scores are normalised before the merit list is prepared.

What to carry to the exam centre

• Printed admit card (colour print of the e-call letter).
• One original valid photo ID — Aadhaar (preferred), PAN, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence.
• A recent passport-size photo matching your application.
• SC/ST candidates claiming the free second-class travel pass should carry the relevant documents as per the RRB notice.

Reach the centre well ahead of time — gates close before the shift begins, and your exact reporting and gate-closing time are printed on your individual admit card.

Posts and recruitment

The CEN 06/2025 Graduate recruitment covers 5,810 posts across Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist and Traffic Assistant. After CBT-2 (normalised), shortlisted candidates go to the post-specific stages — Typing Skill Test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test (for posts that require them) — followed by Document Verification and medical examination.
