How to check the RRB Paramedical CEN 03/2025 Result

1. Open the zonal RRB portal you applied through (RRB Chennai, RRB Mumbai, RRB Delhi, etc.) OR the central rrbapply.gov.in. The zonal portals all link to the same scorecard system.
2. Click "CEN 03/2025 Paramedical Result" on the home banner.
3. Enter your Registration Number (10-digit, from your CEN 03/2025 application) + Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
4. Click "Submit". The result page displays:
   • Roll number + name
   • Category
   • Post applied for
   • CBT marks scored (out of 100)
   • Normalisation factor applied (multi-shift cycles use percentile normalisation)

Cut-off pattern (CBT scoring)

DV is the single largest cause of candidates losing their final selection despite a strong CBT score. The verification is strict; missing or expired documents = disqualification, not a second chance. Carry the complete set as originals + 2 self-attested photocopies:

1. CBT scorecard printout from rrbapply.gov.in.
2. Provisional shortlist letter / DV call letter downloaded from the candidate dashboard after the result.
3. Class 10 marksheet + passing certificate (date-of-birth proof).
4. Class 12 marksheet + passing certificate.
5. Diploma / Degree certificate of the paramedical qualification (B.Sc. Nursing for Nursing Superintendent; B.Pharm + state council registration for Pharmacist Grade III; DMLT for Lab Assistant; etc.) + all semester marksheets.
6. Professional registration certificate with the relevant state council (Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council, etc.) — mandatory and post-specific.
7. Caste / EWS / PwBD certificate if applicable, in the central government format (latest issue).
8. Ex-Servicemen discharge certificate if applicable.
9. Photo ID — Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence.
10. 4 passport photographs same as the application photo.
11. Original RRB application form printout (downloaded from the dashboard).
12. NOC from current employer if currently employed in a central / state government or PSU.

Medical Examination — the final filter

Medical Exam happens the day after DV (or sometimes same-day in the afternoon) at the designated railway hospital. The standard is A-1 / A-2 / A-3 / B-1 / B-2 / C-1 / C-2 classification based on post requirements. Most paramedical posts require B-1 or B-2 medical fitness.

Common medical disqualifiers:

• Visual acuity: Distant vision 6/6 (without correction) for B-1; 6/9 each eye for B-2. Colour blindness disqualifies for Lab posts.
• Hearing: Whispered voice test at 6m; significant hearing loss disqualifies.
• Heart function: ECG normal; significant arrhythmia / hypertension disqualifies.
• Locomotor: No major limb deformity. Knock knee, flat foot disqualify.
• BMI: 18.5 – 30 range; significant under/over disqualifies.
• Diabetes / Hypertension / Tuberculosis active history: case-by-case medical board decision.

If declared medically unfit, you can appeal to the Appellate Medical Board (AMB) within 21 days — but the appeal hearing is at your cost. Most successful appeals involve borderline acuity / BMI cases with documentary evidence of recent improvement.

Final selection + posting

• Final merit list: Published after DV + Medical. Combines CBT marks + reservation roster + post preference + medical fitness. Released zone-wise.
• Posting orders: Issued to selected candidates with the allotted zone + division + specific railway hospital / medical post. Initial posting is typically in your applied zone but can rotate within 5 years.
• Joining: Within 30-45 days of the posting order. Late joining without valid reason = candidature cancellation.
• Probation: 2 years standard. Confirmation after satisfactory probation completion.
