The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has uploaded the final answer key, individual scorecard and candidate response sheet for the CGL 2025 Tier-II examination, held on 18 and 19 January 2026. The files went live on 17 June 2026 and the formal notice followed on 18 June. Unlike the earlier provisional key, this is the final, locked key SSC uses to compute your Tier-2 marks.

👉 Direct download link: SSC CGL Tier 2 candidate login (ssc.digialm.com).
Sign in with your Roll Number / Registration ID and password — the same login opens your final answer key, response sheet and scorecard. If the direct link is busy, reach it from the "Result/Marks" section of ssc.gov.in.
Steps to download your answer key, scorecard & response sheet
- Open the direct candidate login link above (ssc.digialm.com), or go to ssc.gov.in and click the CGL 2025 Tier-II "Result/Marks" link.
- Enter your Roll Number or Registration ID and password, then submit.
- On your dashboard, open the final answer key, your response sheet and your scorecard (marks).
- Download and save all three as PDFs — the scorecard shows your section-wise and total marks.
- Match your response sheet against the final key, question by question, to confirm the marks shown.
- Print or screenshot everything before 16 July 2026 (9 PM), after which the marks window closes.
Provisional vs final answer key
| Provisional key | Final key (now) | |
|---|---|---|
| Released | Soon after the exam | 17 June 2026 |
| Objection window | Yes — ₹50/challenge (now closed) | No |
| Used for scoring | No | Yes |
| Editable | SSC could revise | Locked |
Because this is the final key, there is no objection window — challenges were accepted only against the provisional key. What you should do now is download your scorecard and response sheet and verify your marks against the final key.
SSC CGL Tier 2 exam pattern & marking
Paper 1 is compulsory for all posts; Paper 2 is only for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) candidates and Paper 3 only for Assistant Audit / Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) candidates.
| Paper / Section | Questions | Marks |
|---|---|---|
| Paper 1 · Section I — Maths (30) + Reasoning (30) | 60 | 180 |
| Paper 1 · Section II — English (45) + General Awareness (25) | 70 | 210 |
| Paper 1 · Section III — Computer Knowledge (qualifying) | 20 | 60 |
| Paper 2 — Statistics (JSO posts) | 100 | 200 |
| Paper 3 — Finance & Economics (AAO posts) | 100 | 200 |
Each Paper-1 question carries 3 marks, with −1 for a wrong answer in Sections I, II and the Computer module; Papers 2 and 3 carry 2 marks per question with −0.5 for a wrong answer. Unattempted questions score zero. The Computer Knowledge module and the separate Data Entry Speed Test are only qualifying — their marks do not count toward the merit. Paper 1 runs about 2 hours 30 minutes across two sessions.
How to calculate your marks from the answer key
- Download your response sheet (your marked options) and the final answer key (correct options) from your login.
- Count your correct, wrong and unattempted answers, paper by paper.
- Apply the formula:
- Paper 1: (Correct × 3) − (Wrong × 1)
- Paper 2 / Paper 3: (Correct × 2) − (Wrong × 0.5)
- Do not count unattempted questions — they carry zero.
- The figure you get is your raw score. SSC then applies normalisation across shifts before preparing the result and merit list, so your final scaled marks (shown on your scorecard) can differ slightly from this estimate.
What happens next — result & cut-off
With the final answer key and marks published, SSC moves to the final result and merit list, followed by document verification and post/department allocation for selected candidates. SSC does not set one common cut-off: it is published post-wise and category-wise, and because candidates choose posts by preference, the bar differs sharply between them — Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Section Officer typically close highest, while other posts close lower. Marks are also normalised across shifts before the merit is drawn. Treat any "expected cut-off" online as an estimate, not a confirmed figure — the only authority is SSC's official result. Aspirants for the next cycle can track the live SSC CGL 2026 recruitment and browse every Staff Selection Commission opening on the SSC jobs hub.
Why this matters
The Tier-2 final key is the single most important document of the CGL cycle — it locks the marks that decide your selection and post. Verifying it from your own login, rather than relying on coaching keys, is the only reliable way to know where you stand. For other graduate-level government openings, see the graduate jobs hub.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Final Answer Key 2026 — Scorecard & Marks Out at ssc.gov.in — Analysis & Trends
A note for candidates.
Download everything from your own login — and do it before 16 July. Once SSC closes the marks window, the scorecard and response sheet typically disappear, and you will have no personal record of your Tier-2 performance if a discrepancy ever needs to be raised. Save the PDFs, take screenshots, and note your paper-wise marks. A second point: the final key is locked, so re-checking it against coaching "answer keys" on social media is pointless — those mattered only during the provisional objection window, which is over. Focus on confirming that the marks on your scorecard match your own tally using the correct formula — Paper 1 at +3/−1, Papers 2 and 3 at +2/−0.5. If there is a genuine technical mismatch (for example a question you answered showing as blank), raise it with SSC through the official channel, with your response sheet as evidence. For anyone whose score is borderline, remember the cut-off is set only after marks are finalised — plan your next attempt or the document-verification stage in parallel rather than waiting on rumoured cut-offs.
