Reach the centre at the reporting time on the admit card (gates close before the exam), carry your printed admit card and original ID, and follow the prohibited-items and dress-code rules. UGC NET June 2026 Exam City Slip Out — Admit Card 15 June, Exam 22-30 June — Analysis & Trends

A note on the final week.

The city slip is for logistics, not panic — your real document is the admit card on 15 June. Use these days well: candidates sitting on 22 June have barely a week, so confirm your subject's exact date the moment the admit card drops and lock travel and accommodation around it, especially if your allotted city is far from home. On preparation, the highest-return revision now is Paper 1 (Teaching & Research Aptitude) — it is scoring, predictable and common to every candidate, so a strong Paper 1 can lift a borderline subject score into the qualifying band. Since there is no negative marking, plan to attempt every question. And do not rely on the city slip for anything beyond the city: the centre address, shift and reporting time only appear on the admit card, and those are what actually get you into the hall.
