The minimum aggregate (Paper I + Paper II) is 40% for General/EWS and 35% for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD, but meeting the minimum is not the same as qualifying — the actual cut-off is the score of the last candidate inside the top-6% slice for your subject and category. Certificate validity
Assistant Professor eligibility is valid for lifetime. The JRF award is valid 3 years from the date in the award letter, within which you must join a fellowship. PhD-only eligibility is valid 1 year from the result declaration.
