  1. Open upessc.up.gov.in on a desktop or laptop.
  2. Click the "PGT Provisional Answer Key 12 May 2026" link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your Roll Number (from the admit card) and Date of Birth in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  4. Solve the CAPTCHA and click "Login".
  5. Download the provisional answer key PDF for your subject + your response sheet (the OMR scan).
  6. Open both files side-by-side and match every question option-by-option.
  7. Apply the marking scheme: +1 for correct, 0 for wrong (no negative marking), 0 for unattempted.
  8. Sum your subject score. The maximum is the number of questions in your paper.

  1. Login at upessc.up.gov.in with the same Roll Number + Date of Birth.
  2. Click "Raise Objection" on the candidate dashboard.
  3. Select the question number you dispute.
  4. Upload supporting evidence as a PDF or image — NCERT page, recruiter syllabus, or official gazette / notification. Coaching-material screenshots are rejected.
  5. Pay the nominal per-question objection fee online (commonly ₹100-₹200 for UP-state recruitments — confirm the exact amount on the live notice).
  6. Submit and download the receipt.
  7. UPESSC subject committee reviews every objection during the final-key preparation.
