🚨 OBJECTION WINDOW CLOSES 15 JUNE 2026
JEECUP released the provisional UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 answer key and response sheet on 11 June 2026 at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. If you spot a wrong answer, you can challenge it for ₹100 per question (refundable if accepted) — but only until 15 June 2026. After that the key is locked and the result is prepared on the final key. Match your response sheet now. (Confirm exact timings on the official portal.)

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has released the provisional answer key and the individual response sheet for the UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 entrance examination, held from 2 to 9 June 2026. This is the stage where you can calculate your likely score before the result: download the answer key, compare it against the answers recorded in your response sheet, and — if any answer looks wrong — raise an objection with proof before the window shuts on 15 June.

How to download the answer key & response sheet

  1. Open the JEECUP portal (the official link is in the Important Links section at the bottom of this page).
  2. Click the "UPJEE 2026 Answer Key / Response Sheet" link on the candidate dashboard.
  3. Log in with your enrollment / registration number and date of birth (or password).
  4. Download both the answer key PDF and your response sheet. Keep copies of each.
  5. Open them side by side and compare your recorded answer for every question against the key.
  6. Apply the JEECUP marking scheme (+4 for correct; UPJEE Polytechnic has no negative marking) to estimate your score.

How to raise an objection (before 15 June)

  1. While logged in, open the "Challenge / Objection" section during the objection window (11 – 15 June 2026).
  2. Select the question number(s) you dispute.
  3. Upload supporting proof — an NCERT/standard-textbook page, the official syllabus, or another verifiable reference. Vague claims are rejected.
  4. Pay ₹100 per question challenged via the online payment gateway and submit.
  5. Download the objection receipt. If the expert panel accepts your challenge, the fee is refunded and the key is corrected for everyone.

Only challenge answers you can back with a published, authoritative source — that is what the expert committee accepts. The objection fee is refunded only for accepted challenges, so a speculative objection costs you ₹100 with no return.

Your estimated score from the provisional key is only indicative. A few answers may change after objections, so wait for the final answer key for a confirmed score, and for the result for your actual rank used in counselling.

What happens after the answer key

Once the objection window closes, JEECUP's expert panel reviews every valid challenge, corrects the key where warranted, and publishes the final answer key. The UPJEE 2026 result and rank are then prepared on the final key and released (expected late June 2026), after which online counselling and seat allotment begin for admission to diploma courses in UP polytechnic institutes. Keep your response sheet, scorecard and category certificates ready for the counselling rounds. The fee is refunded only if the objection is accepted by the expert panel. Unsupported challenges are rejected and the fee is not returned.
Is the response sheet the same as the answer key?
No. The answer key lists the correct answer for every question. The response sheet shows the answers you actually marked in the exam. To estimate your score you compare the two — your response sheet against the official key — question by question.
Is there negative marking in UPJEE Polytechnic 2026?
UPJEE (Polytechnic) entrance generally has no negative marking — each correct answer carries +4 and wrong answers are not penalised. This means your estimated score is simply the number of correct answers × 4. Confirm the exact marking scheme for your group in the official information bulletin.
When will the JEECUP 2026 result come out?
After the objection window closes on 15 June 2026, JEECUP reviews the challenges, releases the final answer key, and then prepares the result and rank on the basis of the final key — expected in late June 2026. Counselling and seat allotment for UP polytechnic diploma admissions follow. This page will be updated when the result date is confirmed.

JEECUP Answer Key 2026 Out — UP Polytechnic Response Sheet & Objection by 15 June — Analysis & Trends

Quick guidance — make the objection window count.

Match before you challenge, and challenge only with proof. The most common mistake at this stage is panic-objecting to questions you simply found hard. JEECUP's panel accepts a challenge only when it is backed by a verifiable source — an NCERT/standard textbook page or the official syllabus — and refunds the ₹100 only for accepted challenges. So first download your response sheet, compute your score under the no-negative-marking scheme, and reserve objections for answers where you can cite a clear, published reference. With UPJEE counselling rank decided on the final key, an accepted objection on even one or two questions can shift your rank meaningfully in a high-volume exam — but a scatter of unsupported objections just burns money.
