NEET UG 2026 Answer Key & Result Timeline
The usual NTA sequence is: provisional answer key with challenge window → final answer key → result and scorecard. After the provisional key and objection window, NTA finalises answers and processes the result. As of now, NTA has not officially confirmed the exact result date — candidates should rely only on official NTA notices and ignore unverified "result out" claims. How to Check the NEET UG 2026 Result
- Visit the official portal: neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click the NEET UG 2026 Result / Scorecard link.
- Log in with your application number and date of birth (and security pin if asked).
- View your result — total marks, percentile, All India Rank (AIR) and category rank.
- Download and print the scorecard for counselling.
What's on the NEET Scorecard
The NEET UG scorecard shows your subject-wise and total marks, percentile, NEET All India Rank, category rank and qualifying status (whether you meet the category cut-off percentile). The qualifying cut-off and category-wise cut-off marks are released along with the result.
After the Result — Counselling
Qualified candidates take part in MCC All India Quota (15%) counselling and the respective state-quota counselling (85%) for MBBS/BDS seats, plus AYUSH and other streams. Keep your scorecard, Class 10/12 documents and category certificate ready for the counselling rounds.

How to Check Your Result
- Visit the official portal of NTA — direct link in the result CTA above.
- Locate the result link for the relevant examination + year (most boards have a dedicated result-check page per cycle).
- Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth exactly as they appear on the admit card.
- Submit the form. The provisional mark sheet PDF will display on screen.
- Save and print at least two copies of the score card for your records.
- Cross-check name spelling, subject codes, and totals. If anything looks wrong, follow the re-checking / re-evaluation process within the official window.
- The original embossed mark sheet is collected from the candidate's school 30-60 days later, when the examining body dispatches printed certificates.
